Dell Technologies World 2025

AI-Powered Infrastructure: The Dell AI Factory

Central to Dell’s strategy is the “Dell AI Factory,” a comprehensive infrastructure designed to facilitate on-premises AI deployments. This approach offers organizations a more cost-effective and secure alternative to public cloud solutions. According to statistics, AI workloads can be up to 62% more economical when processed on-premises through this infrastructure. The company reported that over 3,000 enterprises have already adopted the Dell AI Factory, experiencing significant improvements in AI model deployment and performance.

Next-Generation AI PCs and Laptops

Dell introduced the Pro Max series of AI PCs and laptops, featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors at Dell Technologies World 2025. These devices are equipped with NVIDIA GB300 GPUs, enabling efficient handling of AI and graphics-intensive tasks. The Pro Max Plus laptop stands out as the industry’s first enterprise-grade mobile device with a discrete AI processing unit, the Qualcomm AI-100 NPU, boasting 32 AI cores. This innovation allows for local AI inferencing, reducing reliance on cloud computing and enhancing data privacy.

Advanced AI Servers and Storage Solutions

Dell’s PowerEdge XE9780 and XE9780L servers, available in both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations, support NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs and AMD architectures. These servers are designed to handle complex AI models and high-performance computing workloads. Complementing these servers, Dell introduced the PowerScale F910 all-flash storage solution at Dell Technologies World 2025, delivering up to 127% faster performance to meet the demands of AI workloads. Additionally, Project Lightning, a high-performance parallel file system, was unveiled to accelerate training times for large-scale AI models.

Innovative Cooling Technologies

Addressing the growing need for efficient data center operations, Dell introduced the PowerCool Enclosed Rear Door Heat Exchanger (eRDHx) at Dell Technologies World 2025. This self-contained system captures 100% of IT heat using warm water, resulting in up to 60% savings in cooling costs compared to traditional units. The system also allows for 16% more dense AI and high-performance computing racks without increasing power consumption, making it a sustainable solution for modern data centers.

Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Collaborations

Dell emphasized its commitment to building a robust AI ecosystem through collaborations with industry leaders. Partnerships with NVIDIA, Microsoft, Meta and Hugging Face were highlighted, focusing on optimizing on-premises AI model deployment and enhancing AI performance. These alliances aim to provide organizations with comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly into their existing infrastructures.

A Vision for the Future

CEO Michael Dell articulated a vision where AI serves as the “new electricity,” driving innovation and efficiency across industries. He emphasized that Dell’s infrastructure solutions are designed to enable enterprises to “think faster, act smarter, and dream bigger,” positioning the company as a catalyst for digital transformation in the age of AI.
