These additions are designed to help enterprises move beyond generative AI experimentation and into production-grade AI agent deployments. Organizations can now gain better observability, governance, and operational control over autonomous AI systems running across their infrastructure.

This announcement highlights a broader industry shift from chatbots toward AI agents capable of independently executing business workflows.

2. New HPE ProLiant Compute DL394 Gen12 Server

To support increasingly demanding AI workloads, HPE introduced the ProLiant Compute DL394 Gen12 server powered by NVIDIA Vera CPUs.

The platform is engineered for agentic AI, large-scale inferencing, and high-performance data processing. HPE positioned the system as a foundational building block for organizations building private AI environments and enterprise AI factories.

As enterprises seek alternatives to public AI infrastructure, systems like the DL394 Gen12 provide a pathway to maintaining data sovereignty while scaling AI operations.

3. HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 for AI Data Pipelines

Data remains one of the biggest challenges in enterprise AI initiatives. To address this, HPE unveiled the Alletra Storage MP X10000.

The platform is designed specifically for AI-ready data management, enabling organizations to enforce metadata policies, governance controls, and data preparation workflows before information reaches AI models.

According to HPE, the system can improve token throughput and accelerate prompt processing by optimizing data accessibility and quality.

This makes the X10000 a critical component for enterprises building retrieval-augmented generation and agentic AI architectures.

4. Juniper QFX5140 Switch for AI Inference Clusters

Following the completion of the Juniper Networks acquisition, HPE unveiled the new Juniper QFX5140 switch.

The platform is specifically designed for edge AI inferencing clusters, where low latency and high-performance networking are essential. As organizations deploy AI closer to users and operational environments, edge networking infrastructure becomes increasingly important.

The QFX5140 demonstrates how HPE is integrating Juniper’s networking expertise into its broader AI strategy.

5. QFX5252 Scale-Up Switch for AI Infrastructure

Another major networking launch was the Juniper QFX5252.

The switch is designed to support large-scale AI infrastructure and advanced AI platforms, including AMD Helios environments. HPE highlighted its high-bandwidth, low-latency architecture as a key enabler for AI training and inference clusters.

As AI infrastructure scales into thousands of GPUs, networking increasingly becomes the performance bottleneck. HPE is clearly investing heavily in solving that challenge.

6. Expansion of HPE Mist AI and Self-Driving Networking

One of the most strategically important announcements involved HPE’s autonomous networking vision.

The company expanded the capabilities of HPE Mist with enhanced predictive analytics, AI-powered reasoning engines, and broader data center support. HPE also introduced deeper integration between Aruba networking products and Juniper technologies.

The goal is to create self-driving networks capable of detecting, diagnosing, and resolving issues without human intervention.

For enterprise IT teams facing growing complexity, this could significantly reduce operational overhead.

7. Unified Juno Network Operating System

HPE introduced the Juno operating system as part of its effort to unify networking technologies across the combined HPE and Juniper portfolio.

The announcement reflects a long-term strategy to simplify network operations and provide a consistent operating environment across campus, branch, data center, and AI networking deployments.

The introduction of Juno is significant because it lays the foundation for future automation and AI-driven network management capabilities.

8. New AI Security and Governance Features

As AI agents gain more autonomy, security concerns are increasing rapidly.

HPE responded by announcing new governance and protection capabilities within the AI Factory ecosystem. These enhancements include secure local agent registration, centralized approval workflows, and expanded data protection powered by Zerto.

The company also introduced mechanisms designed to identify and recover from rogue AI agent behavior through continuous data protection and rollback capabilities.

This reflects a growing recognition that AI governance is becoming just as important as AI performance.

9. GreenLake Adds More Intelligent Automation

Hybrid cloud platform GreenLake continued its evolution with additional automation and cloud operations enhancements.

Throughout HPE Discover 2026, HPE emphasized intelligent operations, unified management, and automation across cloud, on-premises, and AI environments. The company continues to integrate capabilities from Morpheus and OpsRamp into the broader GreenLake ecosystem.

The result is a platform increasingly focused on reducing operational complexity while enabling organizations to manage diverse workloads from a single control plane.

10. Expanded Morpheus VM Essentials and VMware Migration Programs

Virtualization became another major focus area at HPE Discover 2026.

HPE announced expanded programs around Morpheus VM Essentials, including free licensing offers designed to help customers migrate away from VMware environments. The company also introduced incentives involving Zerto migration tools to simplify transitions.

This move positions HPE as one of the most aggressive challengers to VMware in the post-Broadcom era.

For enterprises evaluating virtualization alternatives, Morpheus is quickly becoming a central component of HPE’s hybrid cloud strategy.
