At Cisco Live EMEA 2026 in Amsterdam, Cisco unveiled a sweeping portfolio of innovations designed to transform enterprise infrastructure, secure AI-driven environments, and redefine workplace collaboration for the agentic era of AI, where autonomous systems, human users, and hybrid workflows converge.

The Cisco Live EMEA 2026 announcements span networking silicon and systems, enhanced software capabilities, advanced security mechanisms, and next-generation collaboration experiences, all aimed at helping customers scale safely, efficiently, and intelligently.

In this article, you will learn about four key announcements made during Cisco Live EMEA 2026.

Cisco Live EMEA 2026

Here are four key announcement made during Cisco Live EMEA 2026.

Next-Gen Networking for AI-Powered Workloads

Cisco’s networking announcements centered on Silicon One G300, a new programmable switching silicon delivering 102.4 Tbps of throughput optimized for gigawatt-scale AI clusters. By combining Intelligent Collective Networking, including shared packet buffers, proactive telemetry, and path-based load balancing, this silicon aims to significantly boost GPU utilization and improve AI job completion times.

• New Ethernet Systems: Powered by G300, next-generation Cisco Nexus 9000 and Cisco 8000 fixed and modular systems enable massive scale-out for hyperscalers, cloud builders, service providers, and enterprises. These systems feature 100 % liquid cooling and new high-performance optics to reduce energy consumption by nearly 70 %.
• Expanded Optics Portfolio: Cisco introduced 1.6T OSFP and 800G Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO) to support ultra-high-bandwidth data center fabrics, along with an expanded suite of P200-powered systems that enhance flexibility across spine, core, and interconnect roles.

Nexus One: Simplified AI Networking and Telemetry

Cisco’s Nexus One portfolio, which unifies the company’s NX-OS VXLAN EVPN and ACI fabrics under a consistent management experience via Cisco Nexus Dashboard — received key enhancements. New capabilities include:

• Unified Fabric Deployment: Enables rapid, automated networking that adapts to changing AI workloads and supports easier scale-outs.

• AI Job Observability: Built-in observability and native Splunk integration (coming in March) lets teams analyze telemetry where the data lives — critical for compliance-sensitive environments.

These advances help enterprises reduce complexity while maintaining consistency, compliance, and performance at scale.

AI-Driven Security and SASE Enhancements

Security was another major theme at Cisco Live, with significant updates to both AI Defense and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offerings:

• AI Defense: Cisco’s flagship AI security suite now delivers enhanced protections including AI supply chain governance and runtime safeguards, helping prevent misuse, manipulation, or compromise of agentic tools and workflows.
•
SASE Advancements: New intent-aware inspection of AI-generated traffic adds context-sensitive protection, while policies can now be enforced uniformly across SD-WAN and SSE layers.

These enhancements aim to secure modern distributed environments where autonomous agents and traditional users interact.

Collaboration Reimagined for the AI Workplace

Cisco also showcased new AI-ready collaboration endpoints that elevate hybrid work experiences and break language barriers:

• Room Kit Pro G2: Targeted at larger, complex spaces, this AI-enabled platform supports multiple cameras, microphones, and AV devices through simplified cabling and integrates powerful processing to optimize meetings.
•
Desk Pro G2: Designed for smaller rooms, the Desk Pro now features dual cameras to simultaneously show the speaker and room overview.
•
Real-Time Webex Translator: A new AI agent provides speech-to-speech translation that preserves tone, emotion, and cadence, enabling clearer global communication.

On the Webex Contact Center side, Cisco introduced AI-based routing that matches callers with the best human or AI agent, as well as AI forecasting and scheduling to improve workforce management.

Cisco Live EMEA 2026: Collective Intelligence and Agentic Collaboration

While Cisco’s product announcements focused on infrastructure, security, and devices, broader industry conversations highlight a deeper shift in how AI systems collaborate. According to industry thought leaders including Cisco leaders, It is enabling them to think together with shared intent and contextual understanding, creating a form of collective intelligence that integrates humans and AI.

This concept envisions an “Internet of Cognition” where:

• Protocol layers handle shared intent and negotiation.
• Fabric layers manage collective memory and evolving context.
• Cognition engines accelerate intelligent reasoning within guardrails for compliance and safety.

In Cisco’s broader strategy, innovations like AgenticOps, an agent-first operating model for autonomous IT execution with built-in oversight, reflect this shift, enabling organizations to automate complex operations while maintaining governance and reliability.

Cisco Live EMEA 2026: Impact On The Future

Cisco Live EMEA 2026 underscored a pivotal evolution in enterprise technology. Rather than incremental upgrades, Cisco’s announcements signal a platform-level reinvention, unifying networking, security, collaboration, and AI orchestration to meet the demands of the modern digital enterprise.

From programmable silicon and unified data center fabrics to AI-aware security and collaboration systems that understand human nuance, the innovations unveiled at the event aim to empower organizations to scale, secure, and collaborate in an increasingly intelligent world.
